Kalu & The Electric Joint blend the powers of psychedelic soul, rock n roll, and the ancient rhythms of Africa. Born and raised in Nigeria, Kalu James immigrated to the United States at the age of 18 and relocated to Austin, Texas where he put together a stellar group of players who graciously fuel and follow his deep well of electric influences.
